Every Ultrasound is a little depending on the type of scan you're having. If you'd like to know what to expect during your appointment, or what specific preparation is required, our team will be happy to guide you through it.

Billing & Medicare

We bulk bill most services at Gippsland Lakes Medical
Imaging, including many X-rays, CT scans and general
ultrasound procedures.

However, some scans may not be eligible for bulk billing, depending on the type of procedure and Medicare guidelines.

We recommend contacting our team to confirm if your scan
will be bulk billed or if any out-of-pocket costs apply.
