At Gippsland Lakes Medical Imaging, we offer a range of dental imaging services to support dentists,
orthodontists and oral surgeons with clear, low-dose diagnostic scans.

We use advanced digital OPG, Cephalometry and Planmeca ProMax® MID CBCT systems to
produce detailed 2D and 3D images of the teeth, jaw, sinuses and facial structures, all with a strong
focus on patient comfort and clinical accuracy.

Services We Offer

OPG (Orthopantomogram) – a wide-view 2D scan of the jaw and teeth. Bookings not necessary, walk-ins welcome.

Cephalometry (orthodontic imaging) - A side-profile X-ray of the head, commonly used in orthodontic treatment planning. Bookings not necessary, walk-ins welcome.

CBCT (Cone Beam CT) – detailed 3D scans for implant planning, TMJ, sinus assessment and more. Bookings needed for CBCT.

Referrals & Turnaround

A valid referral from your dentist or specialist is required

Digital images and reports are sent directly to your
referrer

Appointments are quick and easy, with minimal
wait times

Billing & Medicare

We bulk bill most services at Gippsland Lakes Medical
Imaging, including many X-rays, CT scans and general
ultrasound procedures.

However, some scans may not be eligible for bulk billing, depending on the type of procedure and Medicare guidelines.

We recommend contacting our team to confirm if your scan will be bulk billed or if any out-of-pocket costs apply.
